The Bills and Colts are squarely in the Wild Card discussion and battle as things currently stand.
Buffalo holds the first Wild Card spot while Indianapolis is in the second.
At the start of the 2019 NFL season, many wouldn’t have expected that. The Bills weren’t predicted to be good and the Colts lost quarterback Andrew Luck.
To the surprise of many, Luck’s replacement, Jacoby Brissett, has had a great season. In Week 9, he suffered a knee injury and his team lost to the Steelers.
But Brissett could be suiting up in Week 10. He’s been limited in practice this week, according to Colts Wire. In eight games this season, Brissett has 1,649 passing yards, 14 touchdowns and only three interceptions.
Without Brissett, Brian Hoyer would be the starter. The No. 2 then would be Buffalo native Chad Kelly, who’s currently on the team’s practice squad.
One thing to consider is the Colts’ opponent this week, the Dolphins. Could Indy be confident enough in Hoyer to win that meeting?
The Colts currently trail the 6-3 for the AFC South lead as well.
Buffalo and Indianapolis will not meet this season.
