The Bills start their season with back-to-back games in New York against the Jets and Giants, respectively. In the second of those two Big Apple contents, wide receiver Golden Tate isn’t going to be on the field.

This offseason, Tate tested positive for a performance-enhancing drug and violated the NFL’s policy on those. He was suspended four games.

Tate appealed that right away and it didn’t work. He’s going to still miss four games, including the Giants’ meeting with the Bills.

Tate will be forfeiting $1.797 million of his 2019 salary and bonus, which is the four-game prorated amount of his 16-game pay, per the Giants Wire.

Without Tate, the top concerns for Buffalo will be a pair of Shepard’s, Russell Shepard and Sterlin Shepard, along with Cody Latimer. Plus the sensation that is running back Saquon Barkley.
