Bills need a win and some help in Week 17

It’s not impossible, but after Buffalo’s loss to the Patriots to fall to 8-7 on the season, the Bills must beat the Dolphins in Miami next week and get some help to nail down one of the two AFC Wild Card playoff berths.

What else happened
The Baltimore Ravens beat the Indianapolis Colts to improve to 9-6 on the season. If they win in Week 17 against Cincinnati they clinch a Wild Card playoff berth.

The Kansas City Chiefs beat the Miami Dolphins to clinch the AFC West title.

The Los Angeles Chargers beat the New York Jets to improve to 8-7 on the season.

The Tennessee Titans lost to the Los Angeles Rams to fall to 8-7 on the season.

Who has the edge for a Wild Card berth?
Right now Baltimore is in the most favorable position. They control their own destiny. If they beat Cincinnati at home this week they clinch an AFC Wild Card berth.

1 – A Baltimore loss against Cincinnati

OR

2 – A Tennessee loss to Jacksonville AND a Chargers loss to Oakland.
