The Buffalo Bills have the doctors’ report on rookie linebacker Reggie Ragland’s knee injury, and it’s as bad as everyone feared. Ragland tore his left ACL during practice at St. John Fisher College last week. He’ll need surgery and will likely have to sit out his entire first season in the NFL.

The Bills have issued a statement saying Ragland was able to walk off the field under his own power, but MRIs have confirmed a partially torn ACL and Ragland’s left knee will have to be reconstructed.

Ragland was expected to start at inside Linebacker for the Bills this season. The team will look to veterans Zach Brown and Brandon Spikes to fill the gap.
