The Buffalo Bills confirmed in a team statement Thursday that quarterback Tyrod Taylor chose to have surgery after seeking a second opinion this week. The statement read as follows.
Bills QB Tyrod Taylor had a consultation visit yesterday with Dr. William Meyers and elected to have surgery this morning. The Bills were informed late yesterday of this morning’s procedure.
No other details on the procedure were provided.
Editor’s Note: It was announced later the Taylor was having surgery to repair a sports hernia that contributed to a groin injury he sustained during the season.
