Who: Brian Gaine
Current title: Director of Player Personnel – Houston Texans
Interviewed: May 5th
Highest position held: Assistant General Manager – Miami Dolphins (2012-2013)
Career notes: Gaine has 18 years of NFL personnel experience. He’s spent the past three years with the Texans where he’s served as Director of Pro Personnel and Director of Player Personnel.

Last year he was interviewed for the San Francisco 49ers general manager post and has interviewed in recent years for the Eagles, Bears and Jets GM openings.

Along with Houston GM Rick Smith, Gaine has helped to assemble one of the most talented defensive rosters in the league.

Career notes: Beane has worked in the NFL for 20 years all with the Carolina Panthers organization. He was promoted to Assistant GM in 2015 after a seven-year stint as Panthers Director of Football Operations.

The Carolina executive has experience both on the administrative and personnel side of the Panthers front office, working in scouting both pro and college prospects as well as negotiating contracts and handling matters pertaining to the CBA.

He has additionally handled parts of the NFL draft for Carolina, executing trades the past three years and assisting in the formulation of the team’s draft board the past five years.

Beane interviewed for the San Francisco GM position in 2016.
