A 20-year-old Rochester man riding a bike on South Avenue was hit by a turning car last night next to Highland Hospital.
Rochester Police say the victim was seriously injured but is expected to recover. He was treated first at the Highland Emergency Department, then transferred to Strong Memorial for further evaluation.
Police say the bike had no lights and the driver who was turning from Bellevue Drive onto South Avenue couldn’t see it. No tickets were issued.
