Batavia Police say the body found in a pond at Dewitt Park last week has been identified as a 25-year-old South Korean man named Kyeongseop Woodhams. They say they worked with United States Senator Chuck Schumer’s office in making the identification and determining the man’s nationality.
Batavia Police say the body was found on September 5th, and they’re asking anyone with information about the man’s whereabouts between September 3rd and 5th to give them a call.
A preliminary autopsy has not found the cause of death. Police say they’re waiting for toxicology results.
