Food, Drinks and FUN are all part of first-ever BASH.
ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Help us wing in the new baseball season by joining us for our first-ever Baseball’s Back Bash at Frontier Field on Friday, March 31 from 4-7 pm. This FREE event will coincide with the opening of the Red Wings Ticket Office for the 2017 season. In addition, the Wings will hold National Anthem auditions for Opening Day during the bash.
What’s the Baseball’s Back Bash all about?
FOOD: Zweigle’s will have a food truck at the ballpark serving up FREE Zweigle’s products.
DRINKS: We’ll have $2 beers and $1 soda/water available for all fans.
FUN: We’ll have both our ‘Speed Pitch’ and ‘Swing Away’ inflatables set up for kids. For the adults, we’ll have a couple “tailgate” style games including life-sized Wing Pong which will be featured at many of our Thursday home games this season.
It wouldn’t be a party without a couple crazy birds! Spikes and Mittsy are flying north early this year to make sure they’re available for photos and autographs all evening long.
RAFFLE PRIZES: For every $20 spent in the Red Wings Team Store on this day, fans will receive a raffle ticket. We’ll announce a raffle winner at 5 pm, 6 pm and 7 pm, and fans MUST be present to win.
5 pm Prize: Red Wings Trapper Hat AND $50 gift card to Texas de Brazil.
6 pm Prize: Certificate which entitles holder to EVERY Red Wings giveaway during the 2017 season.
7 pm Prize: Red Wings replica jersey.
STORE DISCOUNT: For each transaction at the Ticket Office, fans will receive a 20% off Team Store coupon valid only on March 31.
SEASON SEAT PICK UP: Red Wings Season Seat Holders can pick up their tickets beginning on this day as well.
NATIONAL ANTHEM AUDITIONS: Want to perform the National Anthem on Opening Day? Sign up for our anthem auditions by sending an email to info@RedWingsBaseball.com. We will limit the auditions to the first 60 entries.
All performers will be given 90 seconds and asked to perform any song OTHER THAN the Star Spangled Banner in an acapella or acoustic manner. Bands/groups can NOT exceed 6 people. Performers should arrive at 4 pm and will audition on a first-come, first-served basis.
The top five finishers will all have a chance to perform at Frontier Field during the 2017 season, while the top finisher will be offered the National Anthem on Opening Day. Performers will be notified via email if they finished in the top five of our judges voting.
