The Barnard Fire Department in Greece says they’re not soliciting donations by phone, and if you get a call claiming to be from the department and asking for a donation, it’s a scam.
Firefighters say they don’t reach out over the phone for donations. The department says the scammers say they’re calling about cash donations for school supplies.
