Rochester Police are investigating their second homicide of the week following a shooting late Monday night at 34 Backus Street.
Police say they found a 43-year-old Rochester man who’d been shot in the body. He was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital where he died during surgery.
The Major Crimes Unit is working the case and has no suspect at this time. They’re asking anyone with information about the crime to call 9-1-1.
