A baby who was critically injured when his father jumped with him from the top of the South Avenue Parking Garage has been released from the hospital.
The one-year-old has been in Golisano Children’s Hospital since the incident on March 19th. His father was killed in the fall. The woman’s husband told police he was having a “psychotic breakdown” before he jumped.
Police said on Tuesday morning that the child had been released in the past several days and returned back home with his mother to undergo further treatment. The name of the family has not been released, but they are from out of state.
