The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after a woman was struck and killed by a CSX freight train early this morning at a crossing on Scottsville road.
The incident happened about 1:30 a.m. at the crossing near Paul Road and the Genesee River. The sheriff’s office says it appeared the elderly woman was laying on the tracks.
