Rochester City Court Judge Leticia Astacio had pleaded guilty to one count of violating her probation and is out of jail again.
The judge was jailed last week for allegedly refusing to put her ankle monitoring bracelet back on. Under a plea agreement she will wear the SCRAM device but will challenge being forced to pay for it in court. That was the dispute that led her to refuse the device a week ago. She was sentenced to time already served.
The charge Astacio pled “guilty” to is that of registering on that monitoring device as having drunk alcohol. Astacio says it was because she used a foot cream that contained alcohol.
