New York State Assembly Speaker Carl Heastie has announced that the Assembly Judiciary Committee has hired the law firm of Davis Polk and Wardwell LLP to lead its impeachment investigation into Governor Andrew Cuomo.
The Speaker announced the investigation last week. Since then, he says the committee has sought for a law firm with experience in sensitive investigations.
