Rochester police have made several arrests in connection with a gunfire incident on High Street last weekend. Police were called to the area by the city’s ShotSpotter system which indicated multiple rounds had been fired.
Police arrested 19-year-old Joshua Massey and charged him with attempted assault and criminal possession of a weapon, plus reckless endangerment.
Police subsequently identified and arrested 27-year-old Craig Stanford after getting a search warrant for his home. He was charged with drug possession and criminal possession of a weapon.
Stanford was out on bail from a September, 2019 arrest for second degree murder.
