A Rochester Parole Violator has been arrested for trespassing at Gentile’s Farm Market in Penfield, and is being held without bail.

The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office says 32-year-old Wilbur Quintana is suspected in a string of burglaries, car breakins and vehicle thefts around Monroe County. He was caught after deputies went to the farm market about 6:30 yesterday morning to investigate a burglary and a stolen vehicle complaint.

A neighbor told them about a man seen running from the area as deputies pulled up. They found that suspect, who turned out to be Quintana, on the 1,000 block of Penfield Road and took him into custody after a brief chase.

Sheriff Patrick O’Flynn says it’s the same old story of a career criminal victimizing the community while under parole supervision.
