The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office has charged a 31-year-old Medina man with robbery and assault after 
he allegedly attacked a man at a Byrne Dairy Store in Sweden, and stole his car.
Deputies say Douglas Taylor was arrested with the help of Rochester police after the stolen car was found in the City of Rochester. Information leading to Taylor was developed and he was arrested on Sunday.
Deputies say Taylor wrecked his car on Brockport Spencerport Road, then jumped into the victim’s car inm the nearby Byrne’s Dairy parking lot and drove away with it, dragging the victim as he tried to hold on.
