Rochester police have charged a 26-year-old city man with second degree murder for a homicide that occurred March 8 on Sanders Street.
Police responded to an address there and found 49-year-old Norris Jay of Rochester dead of a gunshot wound. After a two-month investigation, the Rochester Police Major Crimes Unit and SWAT Team arrested Tory Aldridge for the crime.
Aldridge was arraigned in Rochester City Court Wednesday morning. No additional information was released except that the victim and the suspect knew each other.
