Irondequoit police have charged a 26-year-old city resident with robbery, grand larceny and criminal possession of a weapon after a carjacking incident on July 21st.
Police say the victim met up with Mark Hathaway over a social media app. Shortly after meeting up and going to the victim’s home, Hathaway pulled a knife and stole the victim’s car. The car was found on Phelps Avenue in Rochester.
Hathaway was arraigned and sent to the Monroe County Jail.
