Rochester Police have charged a man with murder in the death of a 101-year-old woman.
They’ve charged 54-year-old Greg Jesner with second degree murder in the death of Marcia Morrison at the Green Knolls apartment complex in Rochester. Police say Jesner was arrested for another incident, and additional evidence then linked him to the murder.
Jesner was arraigned in Rochester City Court Wednesday morning. A not guilty plea was entered on his behalf, and he faces a preliminary hearing on July 30th.
Police say Jesner was originally arrested for allegedly approaching a 13-year-old girl and offering to pay her to come with him. A citizen intervened and called 911, leading to Jesner’s arrest.
Rochester Police were called to an apartment on Green Knolls Drive to check on Marcia Morrison’s welfare after she failed to answer her door when a transport company came to pick her up. Police say they went in, and found her woman dead.
