Rochester police have made an arrest in a murder that took place earlier this month on Genesee Street. They’ve arrested 21-year-old Troy Jones on a charge of 2nd degree murder and criminal possession of a weapon for the shooting death of 22-year-old Brandon McClary.
McClary was shot down at the corner of Genesee and Sawyer Streets on June 17. He was hit numerous times by shots from a 9 mm pistol and was pronounced dead at Strong Memorial Hospital.
