A 30-year-old Rochester man has been arrested on a murder charge for the stabbing death of another city man last month.

Police say Jetta Moss was arrested Monday during a traffic stop with help from U.S. Marshals. He’s charged in the death of Jahlil Greer, who was fatally stabbed on February 21st at 34½ Evergreen Street.

Police investigating the crime learned that it began with an argument in the front yard of the home between several people who knew each other. It escalated into the stabbing that fatally wounded Greer and injured another man, who is recovering and has since been released from the hospital.

Moss was arraigned Tuesday in CIty Court on the murder charge, and an assault charge for the second stabbing.
