A Rochester 16-year-old has been charged with second degree murder in the death of 19-year-old Johnel Ravenell of Rochester on Tuesday.
Ravenell was fatally shot in a parking lot near North Clinton and Clifford Avenues, and died after being taken to Strong Memorial Hospital.
Police executed a search warrant in relation to the case yesterday with assistance from the SWAT Team and Tactical Unit. They arrested Elijah Rosa on the murder charge.
He’s been arraigned in Youth Court and is being held at the Monroe County Juvenile Detention Facility
