Rochester police say charges are pending against a man who fled from police Wednesday when they tried to pull him over.
Police say the driver was wanted in connection with a series of home invasion robberies and was known to have a gun. He refused to yield to officers, who pursued him through the city until he crashed into an RPD patrol car on West Ridge Road. Nobody was injured except the suspect, who was taken to Rochester General Hospital after being bitten by a K-9 dog during the arrest.
