Rochester will face the Syracuse Crunch at the BCA on Oct. 6.
ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The Rochester Americans announced on Monday that the team will open the 2017-18 regular season on Friday, Oct. 6 against the defending Eastern Conference champion Syracuse Crunch at 7:05 pm at the Blue Cross Arena. The 2017-18 season will be Rochester’s 62nd in the American Hockey League, and 36th as the top affiliate of the Buffalo Sabres.
The complete regular-season schedule will be released on Tuesday, July 11.
