ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The Rochester Americans announced today that team will hold its annual “Dogs Night Out” game on Sunday, March 10 when the Amerks host the Binghamton Devils at 3:05 p.m. at The Blue Cross Arena.
For the seventh straight year, fans are invited to bring their dogs to the game as the Amerks take on the Devils. Tickets for the game, which will which will feature canine-friendly themed events, including a “Pooch Parade” on the ice during intermission for a limited number of dogs, are priced at $21 and include admission for both dog and dog owner.
Dogs Night Out tickets are available by visiting www.amerks.com/dogs, while additional tickets are available for as low as $16. All proceeds generated through the purchase of the $21 ticket offer will benefit Richards House, a local shelter serving homeless male veterans and operated by the Veterans Outreach Center, a longtime partner of the Amerks. Hans, the service dog and resident of Richards House, will perform the ceremonial puck-drop prior to the game.
All fans with dogs in attendance will be seated in one of three dedicated sections known as the “K-9 Korner” (211 – 213), as dogs will not be permitted in other sections or the suite level. Fans will be limited to bringing just one dog per person to the game.
Rochester’s next home game is Friday, March 8 when the Amerks host the Bridgeport Sound Tigers at 7:05 pm at the Blue Cross Arena.
