ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The Rochester Americans are hosting Amerks Day at Buffalo Bills Training Camp presented by Connors & Ferris on Wednesday, Aug. 2 at St. John Fisher College. The Bills will practice at 8:45 a.m. with gates being open to the general public beginning at 7:45 am.
The Instigators radio show, co-hosted by former Amerks Andrew Peters and Martin Biron, will broadcast live from 10 am to noon on the campus of St. John Fisher College throughout the morning practice session. The event will feature special appearances and live interviews with several Amerks Alumni members, including new head coach Chris Taylor, Hall of Famers Jody Gage and Don Stevens, and two-time Calder Cup champion Nathan Paetsch. The Amerks Alumni also will be available to sign autographs and meet fans during the event at the Amerks Booth located inside the Merchandise Tent.
Fans who either purchase or renew their season tickets for the 2017-18 season at Bills Training Camp on Wednesday, Aug. 2 will be entered in for a chance to win an Amerks backpack cooler filled with team merchandise, autographed items, and other prizes. The special offer is valid for that day only. Members of the Amerks front office also will be on hand in the Merchandise Tent where fans can pick up the 2017-18 game schedule, obtain ticket and promotional information, and spin the wheel to win Amerks tickets and other great prizes.
