Rochester Police have canceled the AMBER Alert for a missing teenager. They say both 14-year-old Joanne Coates and 41-year-old Robert Gonzalez were found in Brooklyn, and taken into custody without incident.
Commander Joe Morabito says police are working to bring the pair back to
Rochester, where Gonzalez faces an outstanding warrant for an assault charge. He may face additional charges including kidnapping.
Gonzalez is a convicted felon who served two prison sentences. Morabito says police are trying to work out the relationship between the the man and the teenager. The two lived in the same Rochester neighborhood.
