The Buffalo Bills might have swung a trade with the Kansas City Chiefs allowing them to draft Patrick Mahomes in 2017, but a year later they still grabbed a powerful thrower in Josh Allen.

While only one currently owns an MVP Award from their brief NFL careers, they’re both known for their arm strength. During the run up to Super Bowl LIII, Allen was interviewed by Barstool Sports and put the idea of a challenge out there between the two QBs.

When Allen was asked who could throw the ball further, he put the challenge out there.

“We can find out,” Allen said.

Now it appears that challenge might actually happen.

On Barstool’s podcast Pardon My Take, hosts Eric Sollenberger and Dan Katz, known as PFT Commenter and Big Cat, respectively, said they did reach out to Mahomes to see if he would be interested in doing a challenge for charity. He tentatively accepted.

“(Mahomes) has committed interest to it, he said ‘yeah, let’s do it, we’ll have to wait till further in the offseason, though,’” PFT Commenter said.

The podcast also mentioned that Allen and Mahomes had personally talked about it as well, but there aren’t any set dates or details yet.

But there’s at least interest from both so, hang tight. Could be fun.

MyBookie also actually released a prop bet for the challenge already. Allen (-140) is the favorite over Mahomes (+110).
