A Monroe County Grand Jury has handed up a 17 count indictment against the man accused of trying to blow up a Rochester apartment building he owned.

Authorities say Eric Reynolds planted four apparent explosive devices earlier this month  at 401 Ridgeway Avenue. The bomb squad removed after receiving reports of a strong odor of gasoline in the area. Authorities s found evidence that two of the devices had detonated, but failed to set fire to the attached cans of gasoline.

An additional search was conducted of Mr. Reynolds’ home in Webster, where authorities found what appeared to be evidence related to the events at 401 Ridgeway Avenue, as well as three illegal assault rifles.
