Two adults and three children made it to safety without injuries when fire broke out in a home on Shelter Street Monday night.

The Rochester Fire Department says the cause of the blaze in the three-family home was probably electrical, with the fire breaking out on the second floor. Crews searched the building and found nobody else inside. Damage was limited to one apartment. Nobody was hurt, but a dog died in the fire.
