Governor Cuomo promised a statewide crackdown on underage drinking and fake IDs this week, and the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office did its part last night before the Luke Bryan Concert at the CMAC Performing Arts Center in Canandaigua.

Deputies working with investigators from the State Department of Motor Vehicles charged six people under the age of 21 with possessing alcoholic beverages in the parking lot. Deputies and DMV inspectors inside the concert venue caught one person trying to get a wristband for alcohol consumption using a fake ID, which was confiscated.

All the violators were issued tickets to appear in court and released.
