Authorities have reportedly arrested a man in connection with a 2017 death investigation in Albion.
Nicholas Monacelli has been charged with reckless endangerment and endangering the welfare of a child in connection with the death of 11-month-old Damon Carter.
Carter died in July of 2017 after suffering a severe head injury. Albion Police have been investigating since then with help from the Orleans County District Attorney’s Office, the Monroe County Medical Examiner and other agencies.
Investigators said Damon Carter was being cared for by Monacelli, and that Monacelli’s actions led to his injuries.
