A teacher accused of forcing himself on a 14-year-old girl was supposed to be in Parma Town Court Tuesday night, but he didn’t appear.
Authorities found the reason Michael Costa failed to appear in court was that he was in jail. The suspended teacher was booked into the Monroe County Jail on October 5th, but the reason was not immediately available.
Costa is charged with trying to hold the girl by the wrists and forcibly kissing her. The incident allegedly took place in August. Costa has been on leave from the Rochester City School District since his arrest last month.
