A man accused of dealing heroin to a Gates woman who then died of an overdose has pleaded “guilty” to charges of criminally negligent homicide and criminal possession of a controlled substance.
Dominic Hobbs was charged with selling the dose of heroin that killed 41-year-old Tara Miles back in May. Gates Police kept her death a secret while they set up an undercover drug buy that led to Hobb’s arrest.
The 31-year-old will serve four years in prison as a result of his plea agreement.
