The AAA says it’s seeing signs that gasoline prices have about reached the end of their gradual decline, and are about to sharply rise again, maybe close to $3 a gallon.

The Auto Club says the national average will hit $2.70 a gallon this spring, and more in New York State. Prices will be the highest since the summer of 2015 when they topped $2.80 a gallon.

AAA says this is because of tremendous volatility in the oil and gasoline market, with crude oil prices rising and gasoline demand high.
