A Rochester man will serve 88-years-to-life in prison for abusing six children he had promised to take care of at his home on Tacoma Street.
Sixty-year-old Keith Wilcox was sentenced in State Supreme Court today after being found guilty last month on 34 felony charges of child sexual abuse. The children were between 11 and 16 years old, and Wilcox had convinced their parents he could take better care of them. Instead he subjected them to a pattern of sexual abuse from March of 2012 until he was caught last fall.
Assistant District Attorney Leslie Schildt called Wilcox a “calculating and manipulative predator.”
