Rochester Clinical Research says it’s been chosen for a new coronavirus vaccine research study, scheduled to begin in mid-June. RCR is asking people between the ages of 18 and 85 to sign up for the trial.
There are now more than 70 possible COVID-19 vaccines under development by various universities and private pharmaceutical companies. The RCR candidate will be the 6th to start human trials, with many more to come. RCR officials say all of these vaccines take varying approaches to the problem of providing immunity to the novel coronavirus.
