The Monroe County Department of Public Health has reported 64 new deaths from COVID-19, bringing the death toll from the pandemic to 685 locally. There were 461 new cases confirmed by county health authorities as of Thursday afternoon.

The new deaths took place between Mid December and January 4th.

The seven-day rolling average is 555 cases per day, and the average positivity rate is 9.6 percent.
