Governor Andrew Cuomo says New Yorkers 60 and up will be able to simply walk into a state vaccination clinic as of Friday, April 23, and get the COVID-19 vaccine without an appointment.
The governor says there are no excuses now not to get the vaccine. The no-appointment offer is for state-run sites including the Dome Center in Henrietta and the State Fairgrounds in Syracuse.
The COVID infection rate earlier this week statewide was 2.14 percent, which was the lowest level since November 5th.
