Half-a-dozen cars were damaged when a Canandaigua man lost control of his car on County Road 10 in the Town of Canandaigua and crashed into an auto dealership.
Ontario County deputies say 20-year-old Nicholas Albrecht was probably speeding when his Chevy Aveo went off the road and into a parking lot at RS Motor Sports. His car flipped onto its side and hit two parked cars, shoving them into other cars. In all, five cars at the dealership plus Albrecht’s Chevy were damaged.
Albrecht was trapped had had to be cut out of his car by the Canandaigua Fire Department. He went to Strong Memorial Hospital with a leg injury, and the crash remains under investigation.
