The death toll from the coronavirus in Monroe County has reached 57, with 883 total cases reported.
The Monroe County Department of Public Health reports 49 new cases between Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons. The number of total cases on the county’s graph appears to have flattened the last two days.
There are 97 people currently hospitalized and 35 of them are in the ICU. More than 500 people have recovered.
