The Monroe County Department of Public Health on Tuesday reported another day with more than 500 positive cases of COVID-19: 504 new cases, amid 15,800 positive coronavirus tests.
The county’s seven-day rolling average of new cases is now up to 427 per day. 328 people have died in Monroe County of COVID.
The University of Rochester Medical Center announced it would suspend some elective surgeries to make more capacity to handle coronavirus cases. Decisions on cases will be made day-by-day.
