Monroe County Heath Department officials report 49 new cases of coronavirus infection since Wednesday afternoon and five new deaths of the COVID-19 disease. That makes a total of 62 deaths since the pandemic began.
Of 932 confirmed cases, 96 people remain hospitalized, with 35 of them in the ICU. More than 530 people have recovered from isolation so far.
