GATES, N.Y. — Four players are tied at the top of the leaderboard at 7-under-par after the second round Friday of the Symetra Tour Danielle Downey Federal Credit Union Classic at Brook-Lea Country Club.
Round 1 leader Csicsi Roza of Hungry shot an even par 72 for a total 137. She led with a 65 after Round 1. However, a trio of players shot under par to create the 4-way tie at the top of the leaderboard.
Eun Jeong Seong of South Korea tied with the second-best round of the day, 67, after carding a 69 on Day 1.
West Hartford, CT. native Natalie Sheary, the 2011 Rookie of the Year, fired a 69 to go with her first round 68.
Stephanie Meadow, from Northern Ireland, made up the fourth co-leader after she carded a 71 to go along with her Day 1 total 66.
Low round honors for the day went to American August Kim, who shot a 67 and 3 shots off the lead tied for 10th.
The players are vying for a purse of $150,000. The tournament is in its 4th year at Brook-Lea CC.
