Four of the five defendants who pleaded guilty in the University of Rochester kidnapping case have been sentenced.
Dennis Perez and Elliot Rivera received 35 year prison terms. Leah Gigliotti will serve 13 years and Samantha Hughes 15.

Jesus Castro-Ubiles also pleaded guilty, but he’s being sentenced separately. Four other suspects were convicted earlier this week at trial and will be sentenced on December 21st.
All were involved in luring two University of Rochester seniors off campus to a house on Harvest Street where they were robbed, tortured and held until rescued by a SWAT team. They’d been mistaken for two other men involved in robbing and beating a drug dealer.
