The incidents took place last November, and include the murder of Davezhone Bratcher, who was riding home from Thanksgiving dinner in his cousin’s car when they were confronted by armed men, who tried to grab their car and shot at them. The 23-year-old Bratcher died but his 31-year-old cousin survived. Other incidents included an armed robbery on Garson Street in which the victim was beaten up, the shooting of a woman on Grand Avenue as they tried to steal her car and the robbery of a man walking out of a store on Portland Avenue.

Indicted on charges of second degree murder, first degree assault, first degree attempted murder and other crimes were 20-year-old Quincy Brumfeld, 21-year-old Robert Perdue Jr, 19-year-old James Lee Scott and 32-year-old Matthew Williams, all of Rochester.

Police say all the crimes happened within the span of a few hours.
