Four teenaged girls accused of stabbing a woman and stealing her car from the Greece Ridge Mall have pleaded not guilty in juvenile court.

The girls, who are 14 and 15 years old, are accused of assaulting a woman as she walked back to her car, beating and stabbing her, and stealing the victim’s car.

The incident started when one of the girls punched her social worker and stole her car, using it to pick up her friends. They then drove to the mall looking for another car to steal.

Three of the girls were caught within minutes by Greece Police, riding in the car stolen from the mall. The fourth girl was arrested the next day after she rammed the social worker’s stolen car into a Rochester police patrol car.

Prosecutors want to keep the case in Juvenile Court, while the defense wants to move it to Family Court.
