Four people have been arrested for dealing meth in Livingston County, after an investigation that was 20 years in the making.
The meth trafficking ring was linked to a used auto parts business outside Dansville called Bone Yard Auto. Livingston County Sheriff Tom Dougherty says the first complaint to law enforcement about drug activity at the business was in 1997. Dougherty says the problem over all that time has been getting enough evidence to get search warrants.
Federal agents joined the case in January, and last week they finally got the proof they needed to get those warrants and raid the business and the home of a suspected dealer.
They arrested the three men and one woman on various charges of drug possession and sale. Those charged were 55-year-old Kenneth Hoag, 26-year-old Kurt Redance, 37-year-old Andrew Culliton, and Brandie Schumacher.
